How can I change IP address after installation? #47
Comments
ideally |
Open Regedit, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class{6bdd1fc6-810f-11d0-bec7-08002be2092f}\0001\DeviceData and change the "Host" entry |
Is that possible to add UI control element to edit the IP address? |
I supose so... but it seems this project is dead By the way, I'm using this "driver" on Windows 10 and Windows 11 but it doesn't work.... "driver" works fine, it can see my scanner connected to a Raspberry Pi, shared via SANE; in Windows, in Device Manager, I can see a WIA Imaging Device but NONE of my Windows applications can see a WIA scanner... (NAPS2 can see it, but It can't scan, I always get an error) |
I think its a bit too late, however. I managed to correctly install the scanner. After you install the driver , go to Device Manager -> Imaging Device -> Scanner Acess... Driver -> Right click - Update driver -> Browse my computer for drivers -> Let me pick from a list -> Choose WiaSane driver -> Next . Finally, when the device is enabled already , open again the wizard where you type the ip adress ,write the ip and then click next, if you did all the steps correctly it will ask you to pick the Scanner from a list and will ask you for User and password if required. That should fix your issue |
