First of all, thank you very much for continuing your work on k3os.

Currently, I have a mixed nodes k3os cluster, with 2 Ampere arm64 nodes and 2 Intel ones.

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
It is not a problem itself, only I cannot upgrade my entire cluster to the latest version, because there is no amd64 support.

Describe the solution you'd like
It would be awesome to have support for amd64 nodes.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Migrating to another thing different than k3os, but I am really happy with it, so it would be awesome to continue using it.

I haven't built amd64 because I lack resources at the moment where to spin up cost-effective drone workers.

I'm heavily interested in an amd64 build, would it help to provide some spare amd64 resources from our (internal) cluster for a drone worker? I'm totally unfamiliar with drone so I don't know if this is possible at all and what is needed.

Sure it would be helpful. You would have to deploy the drone helm chart and configure it.

Given the frequency of releases, I'd be happy to host a fork under my github enterprise account (used for my homelab only) which has support for github actions. The only downside is we'd have to work some CI magic to have the binaries uploaded back to this repo's release.

Alternatively, I'd be happy to add you as an admin of the fork and have the all the maintenance move there as well, though that's less ideal as people are already coming here.
