this might otherwise interfere in unexpected ways with deployment from the directory stored in .deploy_dir as per #52

pretty sure this is the case; I think only the content of the workspace persists between actions, but not the pwd (that'd be weird). But I asked, just to be sure.

no answer, but pretty sure every new action starts with a new wd as GITHUB_WORKSPACE, that's the whole point of it.
