I fully get that projects gets abandoned due to changing interest/motivation, but it would be helpful if you linked to the seemingly most active fork: https://github.com/carderne/signal-export (for some reason this fork isn't visible in the github graph view)

Not even specific to this project, but this seems like one of the limitations of github. Anyone can fork, which is great, but then what happens if a project gets abandoned for whichever reason, or god forbid something happens to the maintainer? ... picking a successor is really tricky. Thanks for posting the link to https://github.com/carderne/signal-export which appears to be actively worked on, and worked for me.
