Hi,
I use syncless to keep 2 computers in sync by using a usb/networked drive as
transport medium. The computers are encrypted but using syncless I end up
having my stuff unencrypted somewhere.
I suggest that the folders of one tag can be individually marked as encrypted.
An encrypted folder can take additional options as e.g. passphrase or key files
to specify the encryption type and passwords. Files and meta data in .syncless
are treated as encrypted and are being encrypted when storing and being
decrypted when being read.
This could be handled by adding an additional software layer that handles the
encryption/decryption transparently for the existing sync software layer.
Marcel
