This plugin will stage and commit all changes in that repo, not just the changes related to sketch.
So if like me, you keep your sketch files with your code, then you can't use the built in commit functionality for fear of committing code changes by accident.

Very true.
My initial thinking was that I wanted to hide the staging complexity so commit every modified files. I still think that it's the best option for beginner.
But I'm happy to see a option controlling that. Would you like to create a PR with it?
