I was trying to post a #caturday pic of my cat Luna. The app I think shows progress around 200kb/2.82MB before it crashes. First time it was after I composed a toot then tried to add the pic. Then I tried just uploading the pic first. Both times resulted in a quick crash. Attaching the pic I was using. I have an iPhone XS Max with iOS 16.2.

Can you go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Analytics Data and then upload the most recent file starting with Mastodon- and ending with .ips? (You might have to rename it to .txt or put it in a zip in order for GitHub to accept it). That will provide a more detailed description of what caused the crash.

Thanks for uploading! That’s a very strange crash. It doesn’t appear to be in any of Mastodon’s code (instead it’s in objc_opt_respondsToSelector), and a web search turns up nothing at all relevant. What a weird issue.
