Description:

When editing a rich text field and subsequently adding a new rich text field, the new editor is pre-populated with the content from the previous editor. This behaviour is unexpected and can lead to data duplication or confusion for users.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open a rich text editor and input some content.
  2. Save or close the editor.
  3. Add a new rich text editor.
  4. Observe that the new editor contains the content from the previous editor.

Expected Behavior:

Each new rich text editor should start with an empty state, independent of any previous editors.

Actual Behavior:

The new rich text editor is pre-populated with the content from the last edited rich text field.

Environment:

  1. Browser: Brave Browser
  2. Operating System: macOS
  3. Version: 4.16.20
