Configuring RSSguard to behave similarly to QuiteRSS?

I am trying to switch to RSSguard from QuiteRSS and I wondering if there is a way to import settings or if there is an easy way to configure RSSguard so it behaves like QuiteRSS.

One of the things that prevents me from switching is when I display some feeds with a picture, I only get a tiny picture that I cannot zoom in. Only the text seems to get bigger when I zoom. In QuiteRSS, I did not have to zoom to get the picture full size.

Tools -> Settings -> Feeds & articles -> Articles -> Limit height of all pictures.

I am not sure how I can limit the pictures width using the option that limits the height.

I am sorry I messed the width and the height in this option. It is indeed about the height, I just forgot about it.

Do you have the full RSS Guard version or the lite one?

The lite version has very limited article viewer. The full has the full-fledged one with the normal web engine, so try it.

Anyway if you have a small display and your feeds often contain articles with wide pictures then sooner or later some of the articles will not fit the screen. You can limit the pictures height (and width will also be limited in this case because of scaling) but as you already said before pictures can be of any width so limiting will not always help. So in this case you could either scroll, or zoom, or just open the original article on the publisher web site.

Note that lite version picture handling is technically very limited, this is due to text-based component limited capabilities.

Use full version for better image handling as it offers image horizontal wrapping and height limiting worries better.

This feature had long history and it's problematic as everyone expected bit different behavior.

The full version is much better yes. The mouse wheel scales the pictures now. Great. Thanks a lot for your help and a great software!

I am guessing depending on what articles/pictures you are seeing, some people might want a different behavior. For pictures/cartoons, a maximize width would surely be nice.

When I downloaded RSS guard, I just picked the first one I saw that was Windows 10 and did not even know there was a LITE version until you told me.
