Configurable GPIO pins

It's not easy to manage the current pin selection in combination with other hats, which typically attach to the RPI on the top pins and there's a conflict. I had a look into the source code, and I might even be able to adapt it to my needs.

But I'd like to suggest making the pins configurable via a config file, for example. Would that be possible?
