empty docker container after restarting computer

Hi

I installed magento2 with Mark's tutorial , did some customization. My project was running just fine.
I installed some usual apple software updates and on computer restart i could not find my containers in docker. In the docker dashboard it asked me to run docker run -d -p 80:80 docker/getting-started which I did.

But in the images I then started was able to run my magento related containers. But I dont see my magento data on these containers when I attached shell to php-fpm.

Do I need to install everything from scratch? or am I doing something wrong

Hi

I was actually running containers in a wrong way.
I went to my magento directory and I did docker compose up, it works fine now. Since the docker-compose.yml file has my configuration set already which docker containers to run.
