Timeline View: Edit Function is *non*-functioning

What happened?

Using "Obsidian App" v 1.6.7 with a MarkWhen note loaded, clicking the Edit Icon (Pencil) next to any "Event" entry fails to initiate any visible Edit capability.

What did you expect to happen?

Expected the Event in question to be placed in text edit mode

How can we reproduce it (as minimally and precisely as possible)?

Running on "MX Linux", recent kernel, vintage 2023-ish .

Anything else we need to know?

Brilliant plugin, BTW.
