Thanks for creating this Jory. My name is Mark Riddoch, I'm the Chief Architect for Dianomic, we make a data pipeline product FogLAMP and a management product for that, called FogLAMP Manage. It started as an edge product and now spans the full spectrum of edge to cloud. We have an open source version of FogLAMP, with slightly reduced functionality, and this is part of the Linux Foundation LFEdge umbrella and is called Fledge. There is also a spinoff project, called FledgePower, under the LFEnergy Umbrella which is headed by the French network operator, RTE. We are part of Margo because we want our application, FogLAMP, to be a Margo compliant edge application, but we also want to integrate our management tool with the Margo infrastructure. As a company we are part owned by AVEVA, which is now part of Schneider Electric. It's good to meet you all and we look forward to working with and contributing to Margo. |

Hello, my name is Philip Presson. I'm a software architect at ABB. I've been at ABB for about 12 years working on a few different projects. For the past 5-6 years I've been working on software projects related to IIoT. I started doing software development in the mid-90s while in college so I've been at it for a relatively long time considering how quickly things change in this field. My background is primarily software development so I'm hoping to gain some insights into the hardware side of edge computing concerning device onboarding, management, and security. I enjoy learning new things and Margo has been great for this so far so I'm excited to see where things go. |

Hello All! I started my career as a system integrator where I mainly focused on building and implementing control systems for large scale data centers. Since joining Rockwell, I have worked as a System Architect focusing on "IT for OT" solutions such as networking, virtualization, and application/device management. Personal interests include hiking, professional sports(NFL/NBA/football), and video games. Looking forward to learning new emerging technology, growing the community, and working towards our first release of the Margo Specification! |
