this error has been plaguing this server for a while, I had initiated troubleshooting in the old forum, I had hoped the latest release would have addressed this issue but it seems like it's presenting itself again.

Basically after the server runs for a while it starts repeatedly showing this error:

No valid presentation context/transfer syntax found in 0 candidates
In 0 presentation contexts
#Possible transfer syntaxes: 1

When this error appears it's impossible to send studies to the server, and restarting the server doesn't help either.

The only fix is to reboot the server completely.

Some information about the server:
it's running win11
CPU is Xeon (10 cores)
32Gb of RAM (I don't see any unusual spikes or patterns, Conquest is actually very light on standby)
MAG0 storage is running off a NAS, there's about 1Tb of data and 14Tb available.
Database is SQL-lite and built-in tests show everything is fine.
AV is Sophos, I exclude any malware on the network.

Any thoughts?

Hi,

With keepalive, the gui tests the server every minute, and I see that happing at the end of serverstatus.log. The issue you report seems to occur every 10 seconds. This could be a third party application pinging conquest, or windows taking ownership of the port 5678. The fact that you need a machine reboot suggests the latter. Is conquest installed as service or not? Restarting conquest when it is running as a service requires starting the GUI as administrator. Otherwise there is nothing in conquest that would not be reset by restarting the app. To me it looks like something external affecting conquest. Can you use another port?

Marcel,
thank you so much, as always, for answering my messages. Conquest is not installed as a service, I just run the executable off the folder. I can install as a service and then run the gui as admin to see if it makes any difference. I really cannot use another port as there are so many devices connected to this server and for them I don't have admin rights to change their settings, I would end up keeping this and getting a second conquest. I will keep you posted as soon as I have an answer.

It will not install as a service, it just says to run conquest as administrator so that's what I will do. I will keep you posted.
