Need to highlight which icons are projects vs regular basemap or POI

Can we either:

Make the projects stand out by bolding them, dimming out the regular basemap somewhat, or making basemap icons all one color (say, brown) with the projects showing in color,

OR make the projects all one color, say blue, and nothing else in blue? Or choose another color that's not present currently?
