When updating 28/12/2017 it was proposed to downgrade xorg. During the update process Pamac has to display a warning window to inform that the local version is more recent than the one proposed.
At the end of this update because of this message the update process did not downgrade the package in question.
On the manjaro forum it is specified that this downgrading is due to a bug with AMD processors and that it is necessary to make the command "sudo pacman -Syuu" to carry out this downgrading.

It would be nice if pamac could propose via a dialog box (Yes or No) to proceed with this downgrade without having to go through a command line that discourages beginners.

Sincerly,

P.S : Sorry for my bad english

Yes, this would make the pamac gui more robust for sure. 👍

Well, I support this.
I even support options to install older packages, e.g. if system dependencies won't allow to install the latest package.
