Currently there is no way to get network ingress and outgress metrics from cgroups. We can look into using eBPF to get these metrics. netdata seems to be a good source to understand how to do it. We can look into kepler as well to see what they are doing to get network counters. The main objective to aggregate these counters per cgroup.
