Hi, I don't know if you know how to do so, but I would love to see the lxpanel_ifaddr widget use the "Font color" specified in the main Panel Preferences (or the system theme if a custom color is not specified in the Panel Preferences).

Currently, if I set the panel's background color to black and the foreground to light grey, the clock widget changes to light grey, but the lxpanel_ifaddr widget stays as black text.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Add the lxpanel_ifaddr widget to a panel (I used the default panel that is provided in Raspbian)
  2. Right-click on the panel and choose "Panel Settings"
  3. Under the "Appearance" tab, set the background to a solid color (any dark color) and the font to a custom color (any light color)

Observe that the clock widget changes to light text on the dark panel background, while the lxpanel_ifaddr widget does not change color to match the specified font color.

In the screenshot below, you can see the panel configured with a dark background and a light font color (the temperature monitor widget has its own font color settings that have been adjusted independently) while the lxpanel_ifaddr widget remains in black.

You are correct. It may be some time before I can look into adding this however. Thanks for the request.
