Hello,

I'm having problems with composer trying to create the project luya-kickstarter:

Lately we saw that this composer create-project luyadev/luya-kickstarter:^1.0 resolved not the latest composer.json values. Therefore:

1. Could you please show me the resolved composer.json file?
2. It should be equals this file: https://github.com/luyadev/luya-kickstarter/blob/master/composer.json#L6-L10

See, thats the problem. For some reason composer create project on windows takes a very old version.

Hi @nadar, by using the composer.json you suggested everything works fine.

After executing migrate, import and admin/setup without any error, navigating to http://localhost/luya-kickstarter/public_html/ I get this error:

Invalid Argument – [yii\base\InvalidArgumentException](https://www.yiiframework.com/doc-2.0/yii-base-invalidargumentexception.html)
The file or directory to be published does not exist: C:\Apache24\htdocs\luya-kickstarter\vendor\bower/jquery/dist
1. in C:\Apache24\htdocs\luya-kickstarter\vendor\yiisoft\yii2\web\AssetManager.php
[...]

The problem is that in vendor there is not any directory "bower" but there is a directory named "bower-asset".
Are there still composer dependency issues?

I would not just copy the composer.json, because not just this is ridiculously old, also all the other informations, like configs. So i would recommend to remove everything, and skip the composer step:

1. Download: https://github.com/luyadev/luya-kickstarter/archive/refs/heads/master.zip
2. Unpack the zip, and rename to your projeckt (or copy all files into your empty gist)
3. go into that folder and run composer install, afterwards everything according to the guide.

ps: I just tested the same command composer create project on linux, works as expected resolves the latest version. Seems to be a composer windows issue, like the other person mentioned in the issue, he was a windows user as well.

I can confirm that on Linux (I tried on Linux Ubuntu 22.04) the composer create project works as expected.
