I want to get in touch with the people working on this to talk ideas, So forgive me if this is the wrong place. Are you guys working on eliminating the graphical desktop environment requirement?

Also have you looked into using LoRa modules? not quite the range of packet radio but can be used legally which would increase the amount of people using Airchat code. I'm working on my own project similar to this and its open source so feel free to have a look and take what you need!
