So now for assocs we are saving only the 2 parties, instead of the transaction? Isn't saving it this way a bit more unverifiable - when/if it actually happened?
That's not enough information. The result should be the same as /associations/status of the node. So that includes the assoc type, hash, issue date, and revocation date. With tx v3 it should also include the expiration date.
The idea is that the node will drop the /associations/status endpoint at some point. Instead this is available only via the indexer.
