Currently, SGX-LKL uses a version of LKL based on kernel version 4.17. Kernel version 5.2 has recently been merged into the upstream repository (lkl/linux#470) and a pull request exists for 5.3 (lkl/linux#473).

We should upgrade the version of LKL. Among other things this would make SGX-LKL compatible with binaries and libraries from newer Alpine repositories. The most recent Alpine releases 3.9 and 3.10 are based on kernel version 4.19 which is why sgx-lkl-disk still uses the 3.8 (based on 4.17) package repository.
