RM4 Pro ability to set scan frequency to a fixed value before learn #749

I've just setup this homebridge plugin, and so far it's been working great for my RM4 Pro by using the somewhat obscure hack:

  • set the frequency of my remote control (433.92MHz) using the Broadlink app,
  • while it's waiting for you to press the remote button, switch to Homekit and press Learn
  • press remote button
  • check the homebridge logs

I'm wondering what special instructions does the official app send to the RM4 device that makes it able to skip the frequency scan (my remotes only send a code once per press), and making that available through a learn-code accessory would be awesome!

Ditto there is no detection of my remote, I think the rm4 pro needs to set frequency first to learn rf?

Any way to export codes from app would be useful, I have the broadlink explorer running in my docker I will test it there also
