ILI9341 8080 - i or 8080 - ii interface when in 16bit

I do not know the difference between 8080-i and 8080-ii interface selection. I tried looking it up but basically all i got was "different timings" and not much else. When using this library with ili9341 does it matter which interface to use for the 16bit mode or is it specific to one type? I ask this because if there is a difference it means i need to change the wiring i do as i have mine setup for 8080-i as they have differences in which data pins are used.
