The set screws from our motor hubs are not sufficient to affix other components to the motor shaft (stepper motor).

Since the motor hubs are circular I was thinking that rotating one of the two so that the set screw bites into the non-flat surface could help.

I’m also wondering if we can 3D print a part that fills the empty space between the shaft and the one we wall of the hub with holes that the set screws fit into. I can CAD it up later to give you guys a better idea of what I’m thinking.

Per in-person discussion, we are considering purchasing new stepper motors with a 6mm shaft, so that we can purchase 6mm D shaft hubs that won't slip.

For now we will be using the mode of 25 missed steps to compensate. This is not ideal as we will likely be losing around 2 steps on a direction change in the base.
