We enabled review dates and service content owners. When we publish a page, 'Content reviewed' is 'on' by default and sets a 12-month review date. As we're a small team we haven't got the time to set reviews dates for all of our pages.

It would be good if we could set 'Conent reviewed' to 'off' by default, so it doesn't trigger an email in future. We've just received 20 emails for a sub-site that was published 12 months ago and all the pages now gone into review. We want to try and avoid that, as service content owners will also be receiving the emails.

Currently it is not possible to set it to 'off' by default.

Thanks @Dixonj1

Hi @stephen-cox I thought it was possible to default to off - can you let me know?

It flips to on the moment someone switches to published. BHCC has encountered this problem to and for the moment we are decommisoning review date as it has placed a lot of content into review. It would be better if this could be selectivly added to pages / sections or an option of 'this content does not require review' (#49) so a review date and the scheduled transition is not added. I'm told that this is a particular problem in lift and shift and large section rewrites.

Hi, We're experiencing the issue again where pages set themselves to 'review' after we've made a change. It's happening on all page types and increasingly this week.

and

Yes the only way for our latest changes to show is to set the state back to published every time. As this is a relatively new issue, and seemingly random we're not in the habit of checking the state every time we save changes to a page - we will do now though. This function is not helpful for us though, so if there's a way to turn it off we'd prefer that please.
