It doesn't, as far as I'm aware. No-IP seems to be sending 2FA emails even if you have it disabled. I recently created a fixed version of the script. I need to wait a few weeks until I need to confirm my 3ld to properly test it, and add the last few steps. I created a fork with the changes I made, which you can find here.
