I am listening to playback of a transcoded test stream

This is a screen recording of the source footage (426x240):

This audio does not contain blips.

This is a screen recording of the transcoded audio (256x144):

screen-20230512-041937.mp4

This audio contains perceptible blips.

New information: this is on arm64 using go-livepeer repo's pre-compiled binaries.

Maybe test it on amd64 or maybe it's the same?

Hi @chrishobcroft, would you mind sharing the stream-id or playback-id of the test you performed above? It would help in root causing as we haven't been able to reproduce this exact issue.

I don't know how that would help you. It was streaming through my dev environment.

Did you test on amd64 or arm64 architecture?
