Currently we don't have a test framework and I really wanted to write some tests for some features.

Any reason we shouldn't integrate slic or something similar?

We do have playwright being installed and run out of 'plugins/wme-sitebuilder/tests/e2e', using helper utils specific to WP in 'tooling/e2e-test-utils/src'.

That being said, I'm more than happy to have a discussion on how we can improve the testing framework and the documentation/discoverability of what's available.
