To use the QUIC server, you must understand QUIC Discovery.
To use QUIC Discovery, you need to specify the "Alternative Service" option in an HTTP request header as follows:
Alt-Svc: quic="[<hostname>|]:<port>"; p="1"; ma=<seconds>
- "hostname" is a QUIC server host. If left blank, the original HTTP/TCP server host is used.
- "port" is a QUIC server UDP port to be accessed by QUIC Discovery.
- "ma" (Max-Age) is the number of seconds Alt-Svc header values are cached and thus usable.
Note that only the default values (p="1" and ma="604800", where "604800" = 7 days) are permitted in the current version (2015-09-08). You cannot modify the probability and the "ma" parameter with this version.
