The display of some spanish characters is not done corretly, Plan9 has the
same problem with the Vera font, could acme-sac include any other font?
For example Á ó and the like appears half-cutted.

there was a script under /dis/setupfonts,
which downloaded the fonts from Vita Nouva distribution and placed under /font,
you can get it doing a:
svn up -r 102 /dis/setupfonts
After having the /fonts override the acme-font var. in $home/lib/profile
acme-font=/fonts/lucidasans/unicode.8.font, before launching acme.
