manifestSocket keeps timing out intermittently

I initialise ifc2 with:

IFC2.init(
      () => {
        console.log("Connected to Infinite Flight!");
      },
      { callbacks: true, enableLog: true },
    );

Sometimes it works but other times it doesn't, and it logs:

Receiving Manifest Data
Buffer length: 48267
Manifest length: 48255
....
Manifest data done/timed out
Manifest Connection closed

The message Connected to Infinite Flight! is not printed in the console.
