I can't seem to get my lmeter connecting to my ACT. I copied my friends settings 1:1 and I'm still getting an ACt status of Connection Failed. Not sure what to do, I really want to use this plugin. Thanks for the help!

I found toggling between ACT client type makes connection.

I am also having the same issue. Toggling ACT client type did not solve it for me.

Do you have ACT running with webserver enabled?

Think this is the relevant lines. Shouldn't IINACT installed and running be True?
