Dyson Pure Cool Link not showing a fan entity #214
Comments
I encountered the same problem with my Dyson Pure Cool Link (model ending in -475) when upgrading HA core from 2024.12.4 to 2025.1.0. Right after upgrade, my Dyson fan went unavailable. I had to remove it from the integration and when I added it back I found the exact same issue: Only the 3 entities from the OP were available, no actual "fan" entity to control. |
I just noticed I'm still using the shenxn/ha-dyson integration. I'm now upgrading again to HA core 2025.1.0, will switch to libdyson-wg/ha-dyson and report back. |
After upgrading to 2025.1.0, getting rid of shenxn/ha-dyson and installing libdyson-wg/ha-dyson, my Pure Cool Link fan now shows 10 functional entities, including the main fan controls. |
@mayorgergich can you confirm the version of your Home Assistant and dyson integration? |
@dotvezz I'm running latest HASS Core and ha-Dyson integration. |
@dotvezz just uninstalled, restarted, and reinstalled. Seems to be working now. Not sure why, but not asking questions either! |
Recently restores my home assistant from backup and my fan went unavailable. After removing, restarting, and re-adding the entity via manual method like before I only have the following entities:
select.pure_cool_link_air_quality
switch.pure_cool_link_continuous_monitoring
switch.pure_cool_link_night_mode
