I got a new home network switching from 192.168.5.0 /24 to 192.168.10.0 /24 and now the Dyson device is no longer responsive.

This might be as simple as updating the IP address in a file somewhere but if that's the case I'm too much of a Home Assistant noob to know where that might be

It just occurred to me that I also upgraded from a Raspberry Pi 3 to 4 and restored from backup. So that's another change

I had a similar issue where I set a static IP for my Dyson Pure and the integration could no longer detect it. I deleted the integration in HA and then went through the setup process again (the "Setup automatically with your MyDyson Account" option). After that my device was discovered and working again.

Yea that's what I ended up doing as well so it's working again. I think I'm so used to HomeBridge that I expected there would be a file somewhere I can open to change the IP address but if it exists I couldn't find it.

@mrjcohen technically that file exists, but it's deep in the guts of the home assistant config directory.

But I'll still keep this in mind to see if I can either better expose IP configuration, or improve the zeroconf resolution of IP addresses, as I continue to maintain the project. I'll leave this issue open for now to help me remember that promise 😅.

Thank you for all the hard work! With out smartypants like you, dummies like me would be screwed :)
