dynamic linking problem

I've recently started getting a dylib problem with NetCDF on MacOS. The runtime error is:

dyld[65719]: symbol not found in flat namespace '_NC3_del_att'

I was wondering if anyone had run into this and if they had found a solution.

Ah, I think that I can fix this by using the configure option --enable-netcdf=v492.
