Can't get working on Catalina 10.15.4

My 4x4 works fine in Windows on the same machine and it worked in Mojave. This is what I get when I run /usr/local/libexec/MIDISPORTFirmwareDownloader /usr/local/etc/midisport_firmware/MIDISPORT_devices.xml manually.

Found MIDISPORT 4x4 in cold booted state.
Reading MIDISPORT Firmware Intel hex file: /usr/local/etc/midisport_firmware/MidiSport4x4.ihx
Downloading firmware.
Booted MIDISPORT 4x4

The light never turns on and it doesn't show up as a MIDI device. If I unplug and replug, it just keeps repopulating the same text until I ctrl+C.

Did you find a solution to this? I am having the same issue with my Oxygen 8: (OSX Monterey 12.3.1)
