Bug Report: Website Fails to Redirect to /login on Launch

Describe the bug
When launching the website on the root route (/), it is expected to automatically redirect to the /login page. However, the website remains on the root route and does not navigate to the login page, leaving the user on a blank or incorrect screen.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Launch the webapp and access the root route (/).
2. Observe that the website does not redirect to /login as expected.

Expected behavior
Upon launching the website at the root route, it should automatically redirect to the /login page for user authentication.
