[Notion] Always open as page

When you use notion as blog, you probably want that all pages open in full page, not as modal.

+1. I never have any use for a small pop up window, the full page is always preferable and pressing cmd+enter every time is frustrating. You could add a hover to view the page inside for people that find it useful.

Alright, I think I understand. This feature is only available in certain contexts. If you make a "Database" and click the "Open" button in the first row, it will open as a side panel. This side panel can be configured to open full screen always as shown in the video.

However, if you click the "+" in the main side navigation to create a new page, it will always open as a "Center view" with no option to set a default.

If this is right then I don't think that this issue is completely fixed.

Mine is opening fine after the default option is set

To edit the default opening behavior you should go to the "..." (Edit view layout...) on the Database, then go to the Layout option.

You should see an option named "Open pages in". There you can set the default opening behavior of the Database, and every time you open or create a new page there it will open as you set.

+1 when using a database of pages views (my main use case) the current behavior of jumping straight into editing the item name on click is unhelpful and often destructive. Please change the default behavior for pages or add a toggle.

@jamesplease Clicking the + icon in the left-hand navigation doesn't open the page in any view actually... Is that the issue you're talking about?

Clicking on the "New" button on the top right of the database, or the "+ New" button in some views (Calendar inside the day, List and Gallery in the end of the view) does open using the default behavior set.
