Welcome KubeSphere Ambassadorship Program

The KubeSphere Ambassadorship Program (KSAP) is a program where we bring together our members who carry out community activities for KubeSphere. We support your community activities and develop KubeSphere together. We would like to select a total of twenty-five Ambassadors for the program that we will hold open to the community for the first time this year. These ambassadors will have a one-year term. And an ambassador can be chosen for multiple years in a row. KubeSphere Ambassador is rewarded with special benefits and a very special certificate after being selected.

  • Who is KubeSphere Ambassador?

    • KubeSphere Ambassador is awarded to technical evangelists who are helping to grow the KubeSphere community by writing technical blogs and user cases, sharing technologies in the community, etc.
  • What are the benefits of KubeSphere Ambassadorship?

    • Exclusive gifts from KubeSphere.
    • Ambassador Certificate and Badge valid for 1 year
    • The right to participate in events and working groups with other KubeSphere Ambassadors from around the world.
    • Active roles in KubeSphere's development and community management processes.
    • Cloud credits on KubeSphere.Cloud.
    • Custom tags and badges on community forums.
    • Direct communication to KubeSphere developers and other employees.
    • Exclusive rights in commercial processes other than technical.
  • What are the KubeSphere Ambassadorship Program requirements?

    • Be Kind
    • Promote and Enhance the KubeSphere Brand
    • Must be 18 years of age or older
    • You need to have active knowledge of Cloud Native architectures.
    • To have published a minimum of four pieces of content in the last year (e.g., blogs, social media posts, videos etc.)
    • Contribute to any of the KubeSphere repos a minimum of twenty times in the past year
    • Organized an event on behalf of KubeSphere or made a presentation on behalf of KubeSphere at an organized event at least once in the last year.
    • To have technological or other knowledge that will contribute to the future of KubeSphere.
    • Be an active community supporter or Ambassador in a minimum of two CNCF Member or Projects.

To obtain the Ambassador, you must have at least two of the features listed above. For example, contributing a KubeSphere user case and two technical blogs. Also, if you have ideas that you can really contribute to the future of KubeSphere, please apply even if you don't meet the requirements.

FAQs

  • Q. Could I use KubeSphere Ambassador as my 'Work Experience'?
    • Being an Ambassador should be considered as 'Volunteer Experience' but not as 'Employment' or 'Work Experience'.
  • Q. Can I be removed as a KubeSphere Ambassador?
    • KubeSphere Ambassadorship Program will do yearly validation, so KubeSphere community will power you with all necessary support but if you are not active in the community, you will be removed as an Ambassador.
  • Q. Can I use the logo of KubeSphere to represent myself as an Ambassador?
    • You cannot use the logo as your profile picture or your company logo but you can use it and the Ambassador badge if you mention yourself as a KubeSphere Ambassador.
