Second beta!

The second beta with a big version jump (the final release will be 3.0 to match with the Android client)!

Changes include mostly improvements of the user interface but also some bugfixes. Starting with this release we also provide a Windows installer for easy installation!

v0.01: First beta!

A new release that keeps up with the changes to the current (beta) Android client. There shouldn't be any major bugs now, so this is the first beta version!

Its a bit faster, more usable and has less bugs. Biggest new feature: You can receive files send from an Android client, pictures are instantly shown and all files can be opened with a simple double-click.

There is still a lot space for improvements I'm working on. But if you feel something important is missing, create an issue and I'll make that priority. You (yes, YOU) can change the development path...

v0.01-alpha2

A next alpha release that wants to be tested!

Most changes are under the hood, so you wont see much new compared to the previous release.

Note, that this release uses the new Tigase server, you have to switch to version v3.0-beta4 (or newer) on Android and use the new account!

Also the database and server address changed. If you already tested the previous version, better delete the your old Kontalk folder before using this version. You will lose your messages:(

Besides that, sending/receiving message should work fine. If not, please make a bug report.

An attached log file is always helpful for bug issues. Location:

• Windows: {user dir}/Kontalk/debug.log
• Linux: {user dir}/.kontalk/debug.log

Note: the log file can contain private/personal information. Remove these information or send it directly to me ([email protected])
