Is there still any development on the desktop-client?
If yes, I have some proposals to make.
That is: more settings like “font size” and “storage folder for images”.

I use Kontalk-Java-Client v3.1.2 with OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea 3.6.0) (build 1.8.0_151-b12 suse-18.1-x86_64). My computer is a 15’’ laptop with full-HD-screen and with that the fontsize is 1/10’’ (2.5 mm) …

Thanks for reporting! I believe it would be better to open a single issue for a single feature request, but that's up to @abika. That being said, I think @abika is busy at the moment and can't really spend much time on Kontalk.

On a side note: you should increase the overall system font-size for your whole desktop environment, it should help with the font size for all applications.

How to? I spend a few hours searching how to set a larger fontsize in the java environment. Nothing worked.

it should help with the font size for all applications.

I use 5 Java-apps - the other 4 have settings for fontsize...

I don't really know how to do it because I never needed it, and now that I think about it, Java applications might be unaffected by those settings anyway... sorry...
