This is a Blender addon which adds an option to snap the 3D cursor to the view pivot, for fun and profit!
Click Cursor to View Pivot in the 3D View > Object > Snap menu to snap the 3D cursor to the current view's orientation and pivot location. If you like, you can also bind it to a shortcut by right clicking on the menu entry.
