Camera view crashes when trying to open camera

Ayush reported this in #94 but it is unrelated to that issue.

I cannot confirm what he said about the camera view settings not working because that would require the camera view to work.

This is the error reported to console while the camera is being opened:

Pretty sure this is the same issue as the one on libwallaby. I'm gonna close this one since it is less informative.
The problem is that if the camera is already being accessed and you try to access it, it will cause a crash.
