I can't reproduce this problem. Which OS do you use? What is the output from your :version in vim? |
(This issue probably belongs under the pyflakes-vim repository) I tested this in isolation, removing my .vimrc, .viminfo, .vim/* OS: Ubuntu 9.10 :version |

When using Pyflakes, I am finding that the vim command line entry text becomes invisible, more specifically, pressing : and then typing, I see the terminal cursor move, but the characters do not appear. The cursor can move across an existing status line message, or the status line can be blank, and still no characters appear.
If I cause a command line error, i.e. type :aaaaa, VIM seems to reset, and the behaviour becomes normal again.
I can't seem to find the cause of this in pyflakes.vim
