Raspberry Pi Models and max number of cameras // Homebridge in parallel

Hi community,

currently using Synology Diskstation with Surveillance Station and Homebridge (homebridge-camera-ui).
The plan would be to discontinue the Synology and use Unifi Protect instead.
Homebridge to have the cameras as well available in HomeKit should remain.
In total 7 cameras are accessed via RTSP in Homebridge and 6 of those on Synology Surveillance Station.

• Would a Raspberry Pi 4B/8GB or even a Raspberry Pi 4B/4GB be sufficient to run the proxy for at least 7 cameras?
• What are the limits some of you have found?
