I installed Whatsie using flatpak on Ubuntu 22.04.
Whatsie's window flickers and often vanishes (becomes totally transparent with only borders) when dragged around the screen, and flickers to the top and then behind other windows. Sometimes it fails to redraw and leaves a smear of images of the window.
This didn't seem to happen when I had Whatsie installed as a snap, so I suspect it's to do with the way flatpak sandboxes.
I was able to work around the problem by disabling Wayland (socket=wayland) for Whatsie using Flatseal. It's a suggestion I found at flathub/org.kde.digikam#36 which may be related.
This may not be a problem specific to Whatsie but I have not seen it with other Flatpak apps (yet), only Whatsie.
