- AA propagation
-
There is no additional communication between the front-end and the auth (AA) services after login. So, changes in the information made via the AA interfaces, e.g. user preferences, will not get propagated back to the front-end until the user logs out and logs back in again; why or when this is required may not be obvious, and it is inconvenient at any rate. Better coupling between the AA services and the front-end would remove this confusion and remove the necessity for logging out and in to refresh information.
- State communication
-
Communicating the state within the UI is not done across webpages. State is held inside a given webpage, but users can have multiple copies (e.g. search uses localStorage). Need a mechanism for all views to discover changes in shared state.
