Hello. I'm sorry but I haven't used Grails for the last 4+ years and I can't maintain this plugin anymore.

Maybe change the status of this repo in the Settings to "archived" ?
(There's a section in settings with "Archive this repository" -> "Mark this repository as archived and read-only.")

What would it take to get Grails 5 support? I mean like a bounty. What degree of financial "motivation" would it take?

@ncrause I'm sorry but I can't help anymore. As mentioned I haven't used Grails in a long time and I'm not involved in it anymore so it's not about a bounty or money, it's that I'm not interested in it anymore.
Besides that, publishing now a plugin it's more complicated because I would need to setup everything to do it directly in Maven Central and I don't really have free time to spare in it.

Feel free to fork the plugin and publish an updated version of it into your own repository.
