When ever I go to load something into my backup I get this error "Unable to read index archive" and I've tried different backups, everything. I can't seem to find a solution to fix this issue.

Run the program as administrator? What command are you running? Paste the command you're trying to run.
Remember the syntax: ps3xport.exe readindex archive.dat

Did you copy the backup to C:/? if not, you have to make sure you're in the
working directory. Unless your setup looks like
C:/ps3xport-win32/PS3/EXPORT/BACKUP/etc,etc

So take the whole program folder and place it in the c drive?

Is your backup on drive C:\ or on an external drive (i.e. D:) ?

I'm sorry if I'm being dumb, I just learned about his program today. But it's on my desktop.

Right then. It's fine dude :) You just need to specify that the backup is on your desktop. using quotes might help, too, if there's spaces in directories.
Assuming that idps.bin and psid.bin are in the directory "C:\ps3xport-win", and that MyBak contains archive.dat, and that "C:/New" contains the (maybe modified) dev_hdd0 and/or dev_flash2 folders;
C:/ps3xport-win32>ps3xport.exe SetPSID psid.bin SetDeviceID idps.bin AddProtected "C:/Users/[YourUserName]/Desktop/PS3/EXPORT/BACKUP/MyBak" "C:/New"

Ok one more thing, now I'm getting access denied does that mean to run the command prompt as admin?

Lol I'm about to give up, I just ran it as administrator and now it's telling me to find a version for my pc. I must have really bad luck.
